I love to cook! LOVE IT! However, I'm lazy so I like to cook good things that are easy. And, I'm a sucker for "feel good" foods. I'm not talking about just foods that comfort you, I'm talking about food that actually feels good in your mouth! (Ok, so I have an oral fixation on top of everything else! lol) So, without further ado, here's my first post for recipes. It's easy and it FEELS good.
Chili Spaghetti Casserole
8 ounces uncooked spaghetti 1 pound lean ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1 can (15 ounces) Vegetarian Chili with Beans 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) Italian style stewed tomatoes, undrained 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, DIVIDED! 1/2 cup sour cream 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13 x 9 inch baking dish with non stick cooking spray.
Cook pasta. Drain. Place in prepared dish.
Place beef and onion in large skillet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown beef over medium heat until done. Seperate beef (small pieces). Drain off the fat. Stir in chili, tomatoes , 1 cup of the cheese, sour cream, chili powder and garlic powder.
Add chili mixture to pasta, stir until pasta is well coated. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Here is a recipe for those you don't mind cooking but don't have a lot of time.
I call it Pepperoni Pizza bake
ingredients: 1 box of rigatoni pepperoni sliced 2 cups of mozzerella cheese 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
parm. cheese to sprinkle over top (optional) mushrooms to mix in with sauce (optional)
1) cook the rigatoni as it states on the box 2) mix in the sauce, mushrooms (if using), and some pepperoni 3) stir together 4) put in a sprayed 13x9 5) on top of rigatoni mixture, sprinkle the mozzerella cheese, place pepperoni like you would if making a pizza 6) sprinkle with parm if desire
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for about 25-30 mins until cheese melted and pepperoni a little crispy
Hope you enjoy!

okie.. this is late.. and I don't know measurements and stuff.. I just throw it together.. well yeah.. this is MAJOR comfort food.. total fat Normally I buy double of this crap when I make it cause I like it to be creamy.. mmm I wish I could have this now. 1 package of shredded hash browns 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 big fat bar of american cheese 1 16 oz thing of sour cream preheat oven to 425 grease your casserole dish get a giant bowl and put in half the bag of hash browns then add the soups Put about half of the sour cream into the bowl also and start to mix.. then pour in the rest of the hash browns after you've got it mixed spread it into the dish and cover it with shredded cheese.. layer that on thick bake it for about 20 minutes, the cheese will start to turn brown on the edges.. you can stick a fork in and taste it to see if the hash browns are cooked.. then you eat it all up.. mmmm nummy.. Lots of people add crap like onions and stuff but I don't eat that junk so I never put it in when I used to make this

/me gets down on his knee and proposes to Subby....
Any woman that can make me hungry even right after I've eaten lunch is worth marrying, dammit! That sounds DAMN GOOD!!!!
I like making similar sandwiches. I take any flavor bagel I feel like at the time, Toast the bagel, and set it aside. I then make some of those preshaped hash browns you can buy from Super Walmart. I also make some overmedium eggs (make a patty so you can put it on the bagel). Put cream cheese on the bagel, put the egg in the bagel, put a slice of american cheese on the egg, put the hash brown on top of the cheese, then more cream cheese on the other side of the bagel. Mash it all down, and CHOW DOWN!! The yummiest breakfast sandwich ever! (of course..you can add ham or bacon or sausage as needed).
Another variation....don't toast the bagel...and it tastes totally different. I actually prefer untoasted...easier to stuff in my mouth faster, lol.
