Well, it was just me, Ernie, Norm, and Julie while they were here in NC. I don't have any of Ernie with anyone, but Julie does and she will probably post them when she returns. (He worked during the day while we were out.) Here's what I *did* get, it's not much. I'm not much on taking pictures. Sowwy. Julie got more than I did I think. Tuesday morning at the Waffle House. :-) Julie and Norm with me at the background. Norm and Julie and me and Julie in front of the train at Tanglewood Park. (The one of me and Julie is REALLY small. Sowwy about that. I wanted to get the 1894 in there.) We visited the flower garden at Tanglewood and then that night, although Julie has these pictures, we went to Outback Steakhouse and to play miniature golf. We had a GREAT time. Well, except for the "strange, overweight, wheelchair-bound, oxygen-tank-required, handed-Ernie-her-wallet, and talked-our-ears-off", lady. hehehehe Just Norm on the train. It was VERY, VERY hot that day. Probably about 90 degrees. There were sprinklers at the flower garden which were great for cooling us off. :-) That's all I've got. I'm sure Julie will be posting more when she gets home. We missed y'all and maybe we can ALL get together sometime SOON! :-)

Yay! I'm home now, I got buttloads of pictures, but most are of the places we went to see, I will spend tomorrow looking through them and resizing etc and then I will go crazy!
The thing that sucks is we never met up with Angela at all. Her phone had been "temporarily disconnected" for the last two weeks and I hadn't gotten her address off of her yet. *sighs* But we had fun with everyone else, and I will surely post the pictures. And Beth I'm just mad at myself that I never took a picture of the crazy lady... HOWEVER I do have another story to tell about when I was at April's apartment... when I post the pic I will fill you guys in!
*hugs*
Oh and stops, I had never eaten at a waffle house before lol

Aww, that's too bad about Angela. But sounds like the rest of the trip was fun, can't wait to see more pics!

Sunday driving through West Virginia and Virginia, and on to North Carolina it was quite rainy. There were stints when it stopped though. This second one was in Virginia at a rest stop, as soon as we started to drive away in the vehicle it started pouring again LOL.

First night at B's... her dog Bandit kept trying to hump Norm... and then me. Glad he was unsuccessful. The next day we went to Tanglewood arboretum in NC This butterfly was wonderful... we had to chase it everytime it landed and when it finally sat still it landed beside a big vertical miracle worshippers pile of goose poop.

That evening after supper we went to play some mini golf. Sorry about the sloppy numbers, there was a kid behind us that kept trying to cut in front of me because he figured we were done lol Glow in the dark mini golf was next. Beth discovered the glowing paint came off the wall and was drawing all over the walls and then Ernie and Norm joined in and painted themselves. I think I had to get in the action and wrote Canada rocks on the wall and Ernie added "Oh" to the top of it hehe. This mini-golf place was cool because if you got a hole-in-one with a certain colour of ball at certain times, was the winner of your match of golf, or got a hole-in-one on the last hole, they let you spin a wheel for a prize. Ernie won the first game after a sudden-death between him and B, and he won a free scoop of ice cream, as per my request. Then on glow-in-dark, Beth won and spun I think for a gift certificate? Norm and me BOTH got hole-in-ones on the last hole... I think he got $1.00 off a game and I won a free round. So Ernie traded with me... then I whined and complained enough that I would be the only one eating ice cream that Norm and Ernie bought some too. So we were sitting here eating and this is where the crazy old woman in the wheelchair on oxygen handed Ernie her wallet LMAO. ^B, we should have moved your purse lol After ice cream, we walked around the very empty mall and I stumbled upon dance dance revolution, which I always wanted to try but thought I would look retarded.. well I didn't care so I gave it a try. I think this picture was taken when I was still trying to figure the arrows out Outside of the empty mall, everyone was deep in thought...

We went travelling and stopped for awhile in Gatlinburg Tennessee... nice place, after we were done and went through Pigeon Forge though we were thinking that would have been more fun... oh well we know for next time hehe. This is from the Ripley's Aquarium. When we were done there it was POURING rain, so Norm bought us some poncho's to walk all the way back up town for supper. Unfortunately it was raining too hard to get a pic of us in them lol. After supper the storm cleared up and we went for a ride up the mountain View from the top

The next day in Nashville we went and saw the Parthenon, the Frist Art Gallery and the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mall. Norm decided to buy a big fish to walk through the mall with... just to embarass me

Had to try deep fried pickles... I'm going to be addicted, those guys were YUMMY! We had those at Alabama Grill in the Opry Mills Mall... owned by the group Alabama. We went out Wednesday night with Nona, Kevin and Ashley for Mexican but I didnt get pics. We went out to their town on Thursday to visit again. And thats all she wrote... on my way back from Chicago to Winnipeg, I got to sit in the front of a plane with a girl and her seeing eye dog laying on my feet... it was lovely.
